Dear friends please be reminded that Jesus spoke many times in “parables” it will be very “dangerous” and “misleading” if we take all His sayings as “literal”. All His parables have interpretation.

Some people take this “literal” and “misinterpret” this parable…
Some people think is “life after death” but it’s not at all… We shall know the meaning of this parable by the grace of God. Amen.

Please don’t base your faith on “unbiblical theories and teachings” because it will surely lead you to “doom”. Seek the the truth alone( Proverbs 23:23 ). Jesus is the truth( John 14:6 )… Let’s sit under His feet for the truth.

EXPLANATION TO LUKE 16:19-31

Luke 16:19-21
“There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus,
which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his
sores.”

EXPLANATION TO VERSE 19-21

Please this parable represents the life we are living in this world. God has given us probation( grace ) time to choose whether we will “serve” Him or the devil.

We need to obey God and keep His will for after death, there’s no chance for us again to make things right.

The “rich man” represents: people who are wealthy, and have everything they need. They forget God because they have everything and become “pride”. They become “lovers” of “pleasure” than the word of God. “Lazarus” in this context also means: people who are poor and needy and needs help. They are suffering because of the word of God. And they continue to endure to the end.

They remained faithful to jesus no matter their “poor condition”.
Lying at the rich man gate means: some rich people are really wicked. They don’t help those who are in need.

Those they really know they need help—>”lying at their doorstep” but they don’t help them.

EXPLANATION TO VERSE 22-24

“And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.”

It continued that: The beggar( the poor man ) died and the angels carried him into Abraham bosom.

This means: the poor man died, and because of his faith in Jesus, Jesus shall “raise him” in the “last day”.

Lazarus in abraham bosom means: he did right when alive but not “literally” in “Abraham bosom”–>it’s symbolic.

The “rich man” also died and was buried.

This means: people who love pleasures than God word will also die one day.

They really live what the world call “a happy life” and “enjoyed a lot”. These people also knew God so they think they are at “God Side” when they die. But they did evil when they were alive.
When about to die they believed in their heart that they are also “dying in the Lord” Not knowing they were afar from God( Abraham Bosom ).

EXPLANATION TO VERSE 25-28

“But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. ”

This Means: Now Lazarus(poor man ) is comforted because he is “no more” suffering and he’s dead. He died in the Lord so he shall be raised when Jesus comes.

But the people who knew the LORD and did evil also will not be comforted because they die in their sins and the next thing they will see is their judgement of their “wicked ways”.

The great “gulf fixed” means there is no chance for the wicked to do good again. For they are dead and their case is certain in Heaven. So they are forever “afar” from the righteous( Lazarus-poor man ).

Again Jesus said this to make his “listeners” engaged that the “rich man” wish that “warning” should be send to those living. This doesn’t mean it’s “literal” he’s dead. But it’s symbolic…

This means “the wicked dead” would wish to caution the living if they were “conscious” but they are “no more”

EXPLANATION TO VERSE 29-31

“Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”

“Abraham was frequently used” because the people of that time take Abraham as their “father” and even “hailed’ him than Jesus.

Jesus then told them “before Abraham I Am” (That Was In John 8:58 )

Moses and the prophets means:
We the living, light have been given unto us, but we don’t like to see, “truth” have been given to us we don’t love to hear the truth.

How much will we believe if someone “rose from dead” to warn us, how much will we believe if we don’t even listen to the words from “THE MOUTH OF GOD”?

That means if we don’t love the truth, we shall surely face judgment when
“the day of the LORD Cometh” ( Amos 8:12, Hebrews 2:3 )

“And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.” (Amos 8:12)

That is the explanation of “Lazarus and the rich man”

It’s not about “life after death”
But rather the life we live while we are alive…the choices we make. Let’s choose God and help those who “need” our help.

We can’t make any changes when we die. It’s “today” that we have chance not “tomorrow” let’s repent now before it’s too late amen.

Jesus is coming soon!!! Let’s be prepared.

Don’t be deceived by “false prophets” in these last days. Amen

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”
( Matthew 24:4-5 )

JESUS IS COMING SOON!!! LET’S BE PREPARED

EVEN SO LORD COME(REVELATION 22:20)
