Pope Francis has made his most explicit public endorsement of same-sex partnerships to date in a new documentary that premiered on Wednesday (21st October).
In the film, the head of the Catholic Church urged for a “civil union law” that would allow LGBT+ people to “be in a family.”
“They are children of God and have a right to a family,” he said in the documentary “Francesco” which premiered at the Rome Film Festival.
“Nobody should be thrown out or be made miserable over it.”
The now-pope already spoke out in favor of civil unions while serving as archbishop of Buenos Aires. He lauded such partnerships as an alternative to gay marriage.
In recent years as the Pope he has made equally radical statements in support of gay unions and atheists. He previously said Christians owe gays an apology.
This is the first time that the 83-year-old pontiff has publicly endorsed same-sex unions since taking the papal seat.
“What we have to create is a civil union law. That way they are legally covered. I stood up for that,” the pope added.
Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Bible prophecy continues to come true. While such statements seem ‘okay’ to some, in the Biblical context, one must remember where this whole scheme is heading to.
Pope Francis has bought together and signed some sort of cooperation agreement with among others, Orthodox, Methodists, Adventists, Televangelists, Lutherans, Waldensians, MUSLIMS, he even acknowledged Atheists. His common message is all these different groups or faiths are worshipping the same god. They are all on different paths to the same god.
Now he is broadening the number of groups accepted into this one big family, and remember the Catholic church, he the Pope remains the head.
Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Silently, consistently, patiently, the Papal Roman Catholic Church has rebuilt herself.
