Seven Christians were arrested in North Carolina, the second such arrest in recent times, for praying outside an abortion facility.
They were arrested by the Greensboro Police Department after violating a Guilford County order that requires people to stay at home during the coronavirus pandemic.
The christians, part of the Love Life organization, which had taken adequate measures to abide by the social distancing regulations were desperate to offer resources, guidance and advise to those who were visiting the abortion facility.
The Guilford County regulations exempt only persons providing essential needs, medical related or more specifically personnel working to fight the coronavirus outbreak.
Though abortions are not essential or life-saving, many states are allowing abortion facilities to remain open during the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, non-essential medical procedures, travel, religious services and other activities are banned.
