4 Christians Arrested in China for Selling Audio Bibles
Four Christians got arrested by the Chinese authorities for selling audio bibles which is classified as illegal and it is considered same as pornography distribution. The Chinese government see the audio bibles distribution as “illegal publications”.
These arrested Christians are now facing huge prison sentences. Their crimes was selling and distributing audio bibles.
Religious liberty magazine Bitter Winter reports that the four Christians — Fu Xuanjuan, Deng Tianyong, Han Li, and Feng Qunhao — worked at a company called Life Tree Culture Communication Co., Ltd., which was founded in 2011 in the province of Guangdong. The believers sold electronic units that had the Bible pre-loaded on them. They were arrested on July 2 on charges of “illegal business operations.”
The four Christians have court hearing on December 9 according to report and the authorities are seeking hash sentences for the arrested Christians.
